The Officers of the Pacific Railway Club are pleased to announce that the Northern California Golf Outing returns to Carmel, on Saturday October 14, 2017.
Our 2017 outing sees a new venue, The Bayonet Course at Bayonet & Black Horse. This Northern California classic is a perennial “Top 100 Places You Can Play” honoree and is widely considered one of the top 25 courses in Northern California. Again for 2017 at Carmel we will be going with a BBQ lunch immediately following the golf outing rather than the traditional sit-down dinner event. Everyone seemed to enjoy this new program the last few years, so based on that positive feedback we’re doing it again! We feel that the change has served to increase our numbers at the meal, while also providing our members and their guests with additional flexibility for dinner and evening activities.
For our 2017 outing the club has a block room rate at the Carmel Mission Inn again for the weekend of October 14th. Room rates for the club are as follows: October 12th – $179 King or Double Queen Rooms plus tax and fees, October 13 & 14 – $239 King or Double Queen per night plus tax and fees. The room rate would be valid until the cutoff date of 30 day prior to the arrival date, September 13. After this date, guests will be offered best available room rate. Golf reservations are due on or before Saturday September 23, 2017.
We are excited for our new venue, Bayonet and Black Horse. This is a highly regarded facility and we are looking forward to a great outing on the Bayonet Course. The golf registration fee for this year is $225.00 per golfer and INCLUDES THE BBQ LUNCH. The BBQ Lunch registration fee for non-golfers is $65.00 per person. Non-Golfers are more than welcome to register for lunch only and join us for some BBQ!
